Our Team Makes The Difference

M&E has a well-earned reputation for product quality, superior to other machine shops. The company slogan of “Run each part like it was our own” is lived every day by our team. Our attention to detail for each mission critical part we manufacture is acknowledged and fully appreciated by our customers.

Our company is located just outside the center of Greenville SC and is within 15 minutes from the Greenville Airport (GSP) and I-85.

We make it easy to do business with and are recognized by our customers as technical problem solvers and solution makers.

M&E has been in business since 1991, and has been servicing customers throughout the Southeastern Region since that time. The company is owned and led by Simon Ormerod (CEO) and Steve Irwin (CFO), and is supported by a strong team.

Simon Ormerod
(CEO)

Simon has been CEO of many companies in the metals industry, including forging, machining, welding and fabrication companies. Simon has strong experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement.

Steve Irwin
(CFO)

Over 25 years of senior level financial management experience including the previous 12 years as CFO of a manufacturer of highly engineered packaging machinery. Steve has strong experience in reporting systems implementation and process improvement in manufacturing environments.

Matt Pace
(Operations Manager)

Matt has been with M&E for 17 years. He has extensive knowledge of both turning and milling, and brings the team together to make it all happen for our customers every day.

Hazel McCaskill
(Office Manager)

Hazel has extensive knowledge of all the M&E customers, their parts and what is needed to get orders shipped on time. She keeps is the most helpful person you will ever talk to, and keeps the whole team on track!
